A lifelong resident of Sallisaw, Melinda and her husband, Herbert live in the Akins Community on a cattle farm and raise Red Brangus cattle. They like to travel and camp in their 5th wheel with Colorado being their favorite place. They have 2 grown children, Lisa and her husband Kent and Steve with his daughter Chelsea. And their favorite dog Rascal who is almost human!! He likes to sing while Herbert plays his harmonica.
