The Oklahoma Rural Water Association (ORWA), a non-profit organization, provides a wide range of technical assistance and training programs. These programs are designed to protect and preserve the State's precious water resources and assist communities in developing, improving, managing, maintaining and operating public water supply and wastewater facilities and services in rural areas. Services are freely available state-wide to any rural water and/or sewer district, non-profit rural water corporation, or community with a population of less than 10,000.
The Oklahoma Rural Water Association provides a wide variety of services to its member systems. These services range from field training of system personnel through on-site technical assistance and State approved classroom training for certification, to workers compensation and property insurance through the Oklahoma Rural Water Association Assurance Group.
All rural water and sewer districts, rural water and sewer corporations and towns or cities under 10,000 population are eligible for membership.
