The faculty at Muldrow consists of 134 certified staff members and 62 support staff at three sites. This population includes two reading specialists and a math specialist at the elementary site, and a math coach and curriculum director that serve the entire district. The average years of experience with certified staff is 14.5 years. An advanced degree is held by 32% of the staff at Muldrow School. The district strongly supports the continued education of our teachers. This is demonstrated through a program in which the district reimburses tuition as teachers work toward an advanced teaching degree. We also have seven National Board Certified teachers, with others in the system currently working toward this national certification.
The school district has a population of 7,270 and a school enrollment of 1,719. The elementary site consists of 662 students. The middle school site consists of 519 students, while the high school has 538 students. The school district provides transportation for approximately 1150 students. It also provides transportation for the many extra-curricular activities that our students are involved in.
Technology plays an important role in the education of students at Muldrow School. These tools present teachers with many ways in which they can diversify teaching strategies, therefore meeting more individualized needs of the students. The programs and the differentiated teaching approaches that are used throughout Muldrow School provide all stakeholders with limitless possibilities.
